OCBB serves the at-home or professional breeder, pet owner, and enthusiast in their bird-related endeavors!

Club Meetings

2nd Saturday of every month, join us for the business meeting, educational presentation, refreshments, and monthly opportunity drawing!

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for "early bird" member drawing; Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.

UPCOMING SPEAKERS 

August:  Sean Halbert of the Olive Branch Parrot Rescue in southern California, will speak on the rescue as well as what they do to ensure sanitation and parrot health with multiple birds, new birds, and general procedures and precautions to keep the birds healthy and disease free.

September: Carol Stanley, Flamingo Breeder, will talk about the breeding and care of Caribbean flamingos as well as bring a feathered friend for a unique interaction experience.  ((Tentative))

  Meeting Etiquette

We all love birds, but we'll love having you and your feathered pal even more when you adhere to the following while at meetings:

• all birds should be in a carrier during speaker's presentation
• do not bring a bird near the food table (this includes riding along on your shoulder)
• clean up after you and your bird
• no talking when a speaker or club officer is talking to the group

 *Any bird carriers with bird seed/feed must be kept on the linoleum part of the meeting room, per meeting site request.
